About helenosp.com

What this site covers

helenosp.com is an advertorial travel publication. Our guides look at hotels and resorts and the practical questions that come with booking them: which room to choose, what is on site, how to plan around local sights and what to check before you pay. Our first guides focus on resort stays near Niagara Falls, Ontario.

How the site is paid for

All content here is sponsored. Articles are prepared or curated with advertisers, and some outbound links are affiliate links. If a reader follows one of those links and books a featured hotel, product or service, we may receive a commission. This does not change the price the reader pays.

Because of this arrangement, our pages should be read as promotional material rather than independent reviews or personal advice. Before signing up for anything, check the provider's own pricing, Terms and Conditions and privacy notice.

Editorial principles

• Describe places and offers in plain language, using facts published by the venues themselves.
• Avoid inflated claims, invented figures and pressure to decide quickly.
• Label every page clearly as an advertorial.
• Point readers to the provider's official pages for up-to-date prices and conditions.
